Taco bar hire in Hailsham

Taco bar hire in Hailsham, served fresh

For a bigger spread, burrito bowls, nachos or quesadillas can sit alongside the tacos. Our drinks bar can be booked with it too, with licensing checked with you. On the menu are burrito bowls, fresh salsas and warm corn and flour tortillas, which works well for wedding day food and retirement parties.

In a town like Hailsham, a taco bar can go in a hall, a marquee or a garden. It can sit beside our truck or, if the truck can’t get in, on its own near your guests. We still need to park and unload nearby. We’ll check the space, access and power with you before the day, so there are no surprises on arrival.

The process

Service is quick and friendly: guests are served at the hatch or a serving station, so even a long queue moves. When service ends, we pack down. Planning an evening taco bar in Hailsham? Sunset is around 8:50pm in late May, 9:15pm at midsummer and 7:00pm in late September. Once it gets dark, guests need to see what they’re adding to their tacos.

  1. Start with your date, venue and guest numbers.
  2. Together we choose what goes on the bar.
  3. We confirm the table spot and where we will unload.
  4. Our staff set out the bar and guests build their own tacos.
  5. When everyone has eaten, we pack up.

Your questions about taco bar hire in Hailsham

We’re having a ceremony at The Parish Church of Saint Mary: can you cater afterwards?

Yes. The church itself is not where we’d set up, but a hall, field or garden close by with room for the truck or trailer can work well. Let us know the reception address and we will check the access.

How far is Hailsham from central London?

Roughly 46 miles from the centre of London.

Do you provide plates and napkins?

Ask us when you enquire. Tell us what your venue provides, and we will confirm what’s included with your quote.

How much does taco bar hire cost?

We quote for each taco bar, depending on guests, menu, venue and timings. Contact us for a quote.

Can you do dairy-free food?

We can. We offer dairy-free options.

What is a build-your-own taco bar?

Guests take a plate and fill their tortillas from the dishes on the bar. We run the bar from set-up to pack-down.

How long are you on site?

It depends on your event. Timings are agreed in advance to suit your day.

Do you cater for vegetarian guests?

Yes. We can include vegetarian and vegan fillings like black beans or spiced mushrooms, served alongside the meat options.

Space, access and the venue

Access is the first thing to check for a truck or trailer. We look for:

  • The venue’s or landowner’s agreement
  • Details of power and water near the bar
  • Space for a line of guests at the bar

If in doubt, send us a picture of the spot and the access, and we’ll advise.

On the menu in Hailsham

  • Two to four fillings
  • Salsas and guacamole
  • Pickled onions and toppings

Catering for every guest

Dietary needs are easy to plan for with a little notice. We suggest:

  • Decide where the table goes before the day
  • Give us separate numbers for children
  • Confirm a loading spot close to the bar
  • Ensure guests have somewhere to sit

Once guests have eaten, we clear the table and pack up, then load our vehicle.

Loaded nachos make a good starter while the bar is set up.

Working with your venue

If you are organising for someone else, such as a wedding planner, an office manager or a festival organiser, we will work directly with you and the venue. It saves passing messages back and forth.

Many venues have rules for outside caterers: vehicle access, arrival times and documents. Send us your venue’s requirements and we will follow them.

A build-your-own taco bar in Hailsham

Hailsham is about 6 miles north of Eastbourne, in East Sussex. Across the BN27 area, we can serve your guests. We cater in all 289 towns and villages across East Sussex, from the larger towns to small villages. You can also see our page for Brighton, about 17 miles away.

When the service is at a church such as The Parish Church of Saint Mary, the taco bar would be set up at the reception venue rather than the church. Close to Hailsham are historic houses such as Horselunges Manor (1.5 miles north) and Michelham Priory (1.9 miles west). Estates and listed houses set their own rules for caterers, so check where a taco bar station and our vehicle would be permitted before booking. Hailsham is within about 6 miles of the South Downs National Park, with barns and country venues that could host a taco bar. Where vehicles can’t reach the room, the station can be set up there with the venue’s agreement, but we still need to unload close by.

Taco bar hire in BN27 is planned around your venue and access and your guests. That could mean an event at a home with a drive on High Street, Market Place and Station Road or the roads around them. With the A271 and A295 close by, Hailsham is simple for us to get to for your event. For events just outside Hailsham, we cover Tile Hurst (1 mile north-west), Upper Horsebridge (1 mile north), Hellingly (1 mile north), Lower Horsebridge (1 mile north-west) and Magham Down (2 miles north-east). Further out, we also cater in Eastbourne (6 miles south), Hastings (13 miles east), Bexhill-on-Sea (9 miles east), Seaford (9 miles south-west), Lewes (11 miles west) and Crowborough (14 miles north). Being one of East Sussex’s larger places, Hailsham has plenty of venues and spaces for events, though town-centre access for a truck or trailer needs planning.

Well-known places in the area include Herstmonceux Castle (3.6 miles east) and Amberstone Hospital (1.5 miles north-east). Green spaces nearby include Combe Hill.

Why choose taco bar hire in Hailsham?

Should I do it myself?

If you do it yourself, work out quantities first: our guide to how many tacos per person helps. Keep warmed tortillas covered, and label dishes for guests with allergies.

Not sure whether to do it yourself or book a caterer? Consider your numbers, your guests’ diets and your own time. Ask us for a quote and compare.
