Taco bar hire near Soho

Organising for someone else?

If you are organising for someone else, whether you’re a planner, an office manager or an event organiser, we are happy to deal with you and the venue directly. It keeps things simple.

For larger events, we plan serving points around your timings, so everyone is served promptly. Tell us how long you have for food and drinks.

Taco bar hire for your event in Soho

We can serve the taco bar next to the truck or trailer, or as a separate station. Where a vehicle can’t reach the serving spot, we unload nearby and set the table up there, with the venue’s agreement. Popular choices include burrito bowls, a build-your-own taco bar and slow-cooked fillings kept hot, and it suits birthday celebrations and office lunches.

In Soho, a hired hall, a courtyard or a garden without drive access can still host a taco bar. A taco bar station can be set up away from the truck, with the venue’s agreement, and we need a short, clear route from where we unload. Everything is prepared fresh for your event and served from our truck or trailer, so guests get it at its best.

The process

Expect a friendly, organised team. Arrival and serving times are agreed beforehand, get the serving area ready, and serve without fuss. Daylight in Soho runs to about 8:50pm in late May and 7:05pm in late September. Let us know if an outdoor station will run after dark, and we’ll talk about lighting.

  1. Send us the date, venue and numbers.
  2. Together we choose what goes on the bar.
  3. We confirm the table spot and where we’ll unload.
  4. Our staff set out the bar and guests build their own tacos.
  5. When everyone has eaten, we pack up.

Can I do a taco night myself?

Not sure whether to do it yourself or book a caterer? Consider your numbers, your guests’ diets and your own time. Ask us for a quote and compare.

Plenty of people try a DIY taco night at home. The usual problems are cold tortillas, running out of a popular filling and a host stuck at the stove. If you’d rather be with your guests, we will do the serving.

Perfect for your event in Soho

Guests on special diets do not need a separate meal.

We cater all kinds of occasions in Soho and nearby. Popular bookings include:

  • Wedding meals
  • Wedding evening food
  • Birthday parties
  • Family celebrations

If you are celebrating after a service at a church like St Anne's Church, a hall close by could host a staffed taco bar, with the venue’s permission.

What affects the price in Soho

Pricing is straightforward once we know the basics:

  • Staff for serving and the bar
  • Parking and the route in
  • What’s on the menu
  • Timings and hours

The price depends on guest numbers, the menu and how long you’d like us to serve, plus any add-ons and the location. Every event gets its own quote.

Details that help

Here’s what makes a quick, accurate quote possible:

  • Approximate guest numbers, including children
  • Whether you’d like food, drinks or both
  • Access for the truck or trailer, including gates and ground
  • The address or venue name

The more you tell us, the more accurate the quote: the venue, the timings, food or drinks or both, and the access. To send your details, drop us a line using the enquiry form.

Where the truck can go in Soho

We’ll agree the spot with you before the day. A good spot ticks these boxes:

  • Permission from the venue for us to set up
  • Power and water, which we confirm when you book
  • A level area for the taco-bar table

In Soho, as everywhere in Greater London, the ULEZ applies and kerb space is limited. Where will the truck or trailer stop? A drive, a courtyard or a suspended bay can all work.

Not sure about your space? Send us a photo and we’ll tell you honestly.
