How our food truck hire works in East Ham
When you hire our food truck, it serves your guests and nobody else. It’s a private booking, not public trading, so we plan the menu and service times around you. It suits milestone birthdays and end-of-year celebrations, serving loaded nachos, burritos and quesadillas.
In a London neighbourhood like East Ham, the first question for food truck hire is parking. A courtyard, forecourt or drive can work, with permission, and a parking suspension may be needed on some streets. All of Greater London is inside the ULEZ. We arrive ready to serve, and clear our own area when service is finished.

Hiring our taco truck near East Ham
East Ham is about 5 miles south-east of Walthamstow, in Greater London. After a service at a church such as St Bartholomew's Church, a hired food truck at a garden, field or venue nearby can feed everyone. Local halls and clubs around East Ham can be an option for food truck hire, given vehicle access.

That could mean an event at a home with a drive on High Street South, Market Street and High Street North or the roads around them. Food truck hire or something else?
Hog roasts are popular with meat eaters, but tacos and bowls make vegan, gluten-free and dairy-free guests easier to feed. Catering from a truck or trailer can be a practical alternative to a sit-down meal, as there is no kitchen to hire. Contact us for a quote to compare.

Your questions about food truck hire in East Ham
We are having a ceremony at St Bartholomew's Church: can you cater afterwards?
Yes. The church itself is not where we’d set up, but a hall, field or garden close by with room for the truck or trailer can work well. Let us know the reception address and we’ll check the access.
Which station should guests use for East Ham?
Guests can use Barking station, about 1.3 miles north-east of East Ham.
Is the food suitable for children?
Of course. Mild dishes, quesadillas and nachos can be part of the menu. Include children in your numbers.
When do you arrive?
We arrive in good time to set up before service. The length of service is agreed when you book.
Do you provide plates and napkins?
Please ask us. Let us know what you already have, and we will set out plates, napkins and cutlery in your quote.
How much does food truck hire cost?
We quote for every hire, depending on numbers, menu, location and timings. For a price, use our quote form.
Do you cook on site?
Food is cooked to order in our truck or trailer, or served from a build-your-own taco bar. Fillings are slow-cooked beforehand and finished on site.
What do you need at the venue?
The main things are access and a level spot: a level spot to park, space for guests to queue and a little room for a serving table. Send us a picture and tell us about gates, slopes and soft ground.
What happens on the day
Service is quick and friendly: we serve from the hatch or a serving station, so a crowd is looked after quickly. When service ends, we pack down. By late September, it’s dark in East Ham at around 7:05pm, so a later service will need some lighting. A late-May event keeps its light until roughly 8:50pm.
- Share your plans for the event.
- We suggest fillings and dishes for every diet.
- We check power, water and timings with the venue.
- The truck serves at the agreed times.
- Once service ends, we tidy up and go.
Preparing for the day
- Let us know the timings for the day
- Have level hardstanding or firm ground ready
- Measure any gates or arches on the way in
