Taco bar hire in St Leonards, from our truck or trailer
Fillings are agreed with you, perhaps carnitas, chicken tinga or birria, plus a vegan choice such as spiced mushroom or black bean and sweet potato. At summer garden parties and company parties, we’ll put together a menu of burrito bowls, guacamole and a build-your-own taco bar.
In St Leonards, a taco bar can be set up inside a hall or club, with the venue’s agreement. We need space for the station, a way in from where we park and room for a queue. We cater for vegan, vegetarian, dairy-free and gluten-free guests, and we give allergen information for every dish.

Diets, allergies and planning
Dietary needs are easy to plan for with a little notice. Our advice:
- Ask guests about diets and allergies on the RSVP
- Put guests with serious allergies in touch with us early
- Tell us about coeliac guests specifically
- Give us separate numbers for children
We arrive with time to unload and set the bar up before guests eat.
Our food truck or trailer can serve later in the day, after the taco bar, quoted with the rest.
Should I do it myself?
You can set up your own drinks table, but someone has to serve all evening. See our margarita bar guide.
If you do it yourself, work out quantities first: our guide to how many tacos per person helps. Keep warmed tortillas covered, and label anything containing allergens.
Organising for someone else?
Planners and coordinators can contact us directly, and we will keep everyone informed on the day.
Events in public spaces, like parks, normally need permission. We’ll provide the information the landowner or council asks for from us.
The process
Once service is over, we pack up and leave our area tidy. Set-up and pack-down times are agreed with you and the venue. In St Leonards, the sun sets at about 9:15pm in late June and about 7:00pm in late September, so a summer taco bar outside normally runs in daylight. In December it is dark by about 3:55pm, so guests will need light to see the fillings and toppings.
- Start with the essentials: the date, venue, headcount and diets.
- We plan the fillings and toppings with you and quote for them.
- Together we fix the spot for the taco bar and a nearby place for our vehicle.
- We set out warm tortillas, hot fillings, salsas and toppings, and guests help themselves.
- Once guests have eaten, we take down the bar and leave the spot tidy.
Getting ready for the day
- Tell us when you want service to start
- Confirm numbers and diets before the day
- Tell us about narrow gates or low branches
