Thinking of a taco bar in Under Green? Catering in a public park usually needs the landowner’s permission, so check first. Nearby historic houses include Loseley Park (2.7 miles north-east) and Wanborough Manor (3.4 miles north). Historic venues often limit where vehicles can go, so ask whether a taco bar station could be set up inside while our food truck or trailer parks further off. Check with yours where a taco bar station and our truck or trailer could go.

Taco bar hire in Upper Eashing, from our truck or trailer

Our truck and trailer service usually suits around 50 to 400 guests, and smaller parties are quoted case by case. Share your headcount and we will size the taco bar to match. For barn parties and engagement and anniversary parties, we can serve fresh salsas, burrito bowls and pickled onions and toppings for your guests.

Somewhere as small as Upper Eashing, a garden, barn or hall can host a taco bar. If the truck can’t get close, we can set the station up nearer your guests, though we still need to unload within a short walk. Access, space and power are agreed with you beforehand, so there are no surprises on arrival.

Working with your venue

Planners and coordinators can contact us directly, and we will keep everyone informed on the day.

Booking for a company? Tell us what your finance team needs, and we will explain how it works. We are happy to liaise with facilities on access and timings.

Should I do it myself?

For a small group, a taco night at home can work well. For big numbers or lots of diets, a caterer makes life easier, with allergen information for every dish.

If you do it yourself, work out quantities first: our guide to how many tacos per person helps. Keep tortillas warm in a covered basket, and label anything containing allergens.

Taco bar hire or something else?

If you want food that feels sociable but still well run, a taco bar is a strong choice for your event. Comparing caterers? Look at what each quote includes: serving hours, staff, disposables, travel and VAT. Contact us for a quote and we will set out what’s included.

What you get with us

  • Options for gluten-free, dairy-free, vegetarian and vegan guests
  • A truck or trailer that comes to you
  • A menu built around your guests
  • A plan agreed before the day

See our prices page or our guide to catering costs.

Dietary needs and planning tips

Dietary needs are easy to plan for with a little notice. Our advice:

  • Choose at least one vegan filling
  • Check where our vehicle can unload
  • Let us know about anyone who is coeliac
  • Fit the bar into your running order

Each dish is labelled, and allergen information is kept at the bar.

Loaded nachos make a good starter while the bar is set up.

Perfect for your event in Upper Eashing

Everyone builds a plate that suits them, so there are fewer special requests.

Whatever the occasion, the serving truck can be a highlight. We are happy to cater:

  • Birthday parties
  • Marquee parties
  • Evening wedding receptions
  • Anniversary parties

When the service is at a church such as St Mark's Church and Community Centre, the taco bar would be set up at the reception venue rather than the church.

What to look for in a quote

  • Space, access, power and water needs
  • Whether plates, napkins and cutlery are included
  • When payment is due
  • How long the service runs

Our caterer checklist

What we need at the venue

The route in matters as much as the spot itself. We look for:

  • Cover overhead if the bar is outdoors
  • Power and water, which we confirm when you book
  • Room for the bar alongside the vehicle, if booked together

If you are unsure, send a picture of the space and the way in, and we’ll say what we think before booking.

What we offer

  • Vegan fillings
  • Two to four fillings
  • Pickled onions and toppings
  • Corn and flour tortillas
  • Salsas and guacamole
  • Tortilla chips

What affects the price in Upper Eashing

The price comes down to a few factors:

  • Travel, parking and access
  • Whether you add a drinks bar or food
  • Your choice of food and drinks
  • Whether you need disposables

Your choice of food and drinks affects the price, so share your ideas with us. Tell us your budget and we’ll suggest a menu.

What we need to know

To check availability and price, we need:

  • Diets and allergies you know about
  • The address or venue name
  • Approximate guest numbers, including children
  • Access for the truck or trailer, including gates and ground

Not sure what you need yet? That’s fine: give us the basics about your event, and we will make suggestions. To start, drop us a line using the enquiry form.

Upper Eashing: your questions answered

Do you cater in villages like Upper Eashing?

Yes, small places are no problem, given access. Let us know about access and parking for the truck or trailer.

Can you cater a reception after a service at St Mark's Church and Community Centre?

Yes, at a garden, field or venue nearby where the truck or trailer can park. Service would be at the reception venue, not the church. Tell us where the reception will be.

How much is a food truck for an event?

It depends on guest numbers, the menu, the length of service and the location. Send us the details for a quote.

How long do you serve for?

We arrive in good time to set up before service. The length of service is agreed when you book, along with pack-down.

What should the venue provide?

Tell us about the venue and the spot you have in mind, and we’ll confirm what’s needed. We also need the venue’s permission.

Can you come to a private house?

Yes, if the truck or trailer can get in and park on level, firm ground. Tell us about the drive, gates and any slopes, and we will tell you honestly whether it works.

Do you have gluten-free options?

We can, using corn tortillas. Corn is naturally gluten-free, though some sauces and toppings can contain gluten, so we plan gluten-free dishes carefully and give allergen information.

Where do you cater?

We cover London and the South East, Surrey included. See all areas.

How the day works

We need a level, firm spot we can drive the truck or trailer onto, and we agree power and water arrangements before the day. A picture of the space helps. In Upper Eashing, the sun sets at about 9:20pm in late June and about 7:05pm in late September, so a summer taco bar outside normally runs in daylight. In December it’s dark by about 3:55pm, so guests will need light to see the fillings and toppings.

  1. Tell us the date, the venue, how many guests and any diets.
  2. We suggest fillings, salsas and toppings for the bar and send a quote.
  3. Together we fix the spot for the taco bar and a nearby place for our vehicle.
  4. On the day our staff lay out the bar and keep it stocked while guests build their tacos.
  5. Once guests have eaten, we take down the bar and leave the spot tidy.

Preparing for the day

  • Tell us when you want service to start
  • Measure any gates or arches on the way in
  • Plan a covered area for guests if rain is likely
