Taco bar hire for your event in Reigate
The toppings are where guests get creative: pickled onions, coriander, lime, shredded lettuce and cheese, agreed with you in advance. For wedding evening food and working lunches, we’ll put together a menu of warm corn and flour tortillas, a build-your-own taco bar and guacamole and more.
In a town like Reigate, a taco bar can go in a hall, a marquee or a garden. It can sit beside our truck or, if the truck can’t get in, on its own near your guests. Either way, we need to unload close by. We serve from the hatch of our truck or trailer, or from a serving station, and we plan service so the queue keeps moving.

Reigate is about 9 miles north of Crawley, in Surrey. Anywhere in RH2, we’ll come to your venue or site, as long as there is access. We cover 395 places in Surrey. You can also see our page for Crawley, about 9 miles away.
Guests arriving without a car will want to know that Reigate station is in Reigate itself. Parks such as Castle Grounds typically need the owner’s agreement for catering, even without a truck on the grass, so ask before you plan. Reigate is within about 5 miles of the Surrey Hills National Landscape, with barns and country venues that could host a taco bar. Where vehicles can’t reach the room, the station can be set up there with the venue’s agreement, but we still need to unload close by.
Taco bar hire in RH2 and RH1 is planned around your venue and access and your guests. We can cater an event on streets such as High Street, London Road and Church Road or the roads around them. With the A25 and A217 close by, Reigate is easy for us to reach for your event. Within a short drive, we also cover Epsom (7 miles north-west), Horley (4 miles south), Ewell (8 miles north), Walton-on-Thames (14 miles north-west), Caterham (6 miles north-east) and Dorking (6 miles west). Being one of Surrey’s larger places, Reigate has plenty of venues and spaces for events, though town-centre access for a truck or trailer needs planning.

Reigate questions
We are having a ceremony at Church of St Mary Magdalene: can you cater afterwards?
Yes. The church itself is not where we’d set up, but a hall, field or garden close by with room for the truck or trailer can work well. Let us know the reception address and we’ll check the access.
Is it possible to have you in Castle Grounds?
Only with permission from whoever runs the park, often the council. Check with them, and we’ll provide what they ask for from us.
How many guests can you serve?
Our truck and trailer service normally suits events of around 50 to 400 guests. Festivals can be bigger, and smaller parties are quoted case by case. Tell us your numbers.
Is a taco bar good for vegans and gluten-free guests?
Keeping each dish separate makes mixed diets easier, though we can’t guarantee there are no traces of any allergen. Guests with severe allergies should talk to us first.
Do you cater in Reigate?
Yes. We cater across London and the South East, and Reigate is within our area. For a quote, send us your details through our quote form.
How spicy is the food?
That’s your choice: we can keep it mild and put the hotter salsas on the side. Read more about how spicy Mexican food is.
Do you clear up afterwards?
Our area is packed away and left tidy. Let us know the venue’s rules on waste and we’ll talk it through.
Do you provide allergen information for each dish?
Yes, and it helps to hear about allergies when you book. UK law requires caterers to provide information on 14 allergens, and we give it for every dish (Food Standards Agency guidance). Anyone with a severe allergy should speak to us before the event.
Where the truck can go in Reigate
We serve from a truck or trailer, so the spot needs a little planning. Here’s what we look for:
- A sheltered spot if we’re serving outside
- Somewhere close by for our vehicle to park and unload
- A spot next to the truck or trailer when both are booked
If in doubt, send us a picture of the spot and the access, and we will advise before you book.

DIY taco night or a caterer?
You can host your own taco night for a crowd, but it takes planning. Fillings need slow cooking, tortillas need warming as you go, and salsas need making. Our taco bar guide explains how.
Some hosts like to do it themselves. The usual problems are cold tortillas, running out of a popular filling and a host stuck at the stove. If you’d rather be with your guests, we will do the serving.
