Taco bar hire for your event in Three Bridges

Our taco bar travels to events across Three Bridges and the surrounding area: marquees, barns, gardens, halls and workplaces, wherever there is room for the table. It works well for leaving dos and back-garden gatherings, serving a build-your-own taco bar, fresh salsas and burrito bowls.

Around Three Bridges, a taco bar can stand beside our truck on a drive or lawn. Where access is tight, the truck stays nearby and the station goes where your guests are. Your quote sets out what’s included: the menu, the service time and any extras you choose.

Space, access and the venue

We serve from a truck or trailer, so the spot needs a little planning. Here’s what we look for:

  • A short, clear path for carrying the bar in
  • The venue’s or landowner’s agreement
  • Details of power and water near the bar

Not sure about your space? Send us a picture and we will tell you honestly before booking.

What we offer

  • Corn and flour tortillas
  • Vegan fillings
  • Tortilla chips
  • Two to four fillings
  • Salsas and guacamole
  • Pickled onions and toppings

The process

We arrive in good time before service, set up the truck or trailer and get everything ready. When service opens, guests come up to the hatch or serving table. Around midsummer it stays light in Three Bridges until about 9:20pm; by late September sunset is nearer 7:05pm, so a summer taco bar outside normally runs in daylight. For winter events, dark by about 3:55pm, plan good lighting over the station.

  1. Start with your date, venue and guest numbers.
  2. We plan the fillings, salsas and toppings with you.
  3. We confirm the table spot and where we will unload.
  4. Our staff set out the bar and guests build their own tacos.
  5. When everyone has eaten, we pack up.

How to prepare

  • Get the venue’s permission for us to park and serve
  • Send us final numbers and dietary needs in good time
  • Ask the venue about power and water

Planning help

Prices and what affects them

We quote for your event, which reflects:

  • Plates, napkins and cutlery
  • Parking and the route in
  • Serving staff
  • What’s on the menu

The price depends on guest numbers, the menu and how long you’d like us to serve, along with extras and where your event is. We quote for each event individually.

Details that help

The more we know about your event, the better we can plan. Try to include:

  • A picture of where we’d park
  • How we drive in and where we can park
  • The date and time of the event
  • The address or venue name

We quote for each event separately, based on what you need. For a quote, send us your details through our quote form.

Organising for someone else?

If you are booking for a business, tell us what your finance team needs, and we’ll explain how it works. We can work with your facilities team on access and timings.

Planners and coordinators can contact us directly, and we’ll keep everyone informed on the day.

Diets, allergies and planning

With a little notice, most diets are easy. Our advice:

  • Let us know about anyone who is coeliac
  • Tell us when guests should eat
  • Ensure guests have somewhere to sit
  • Ask guests with severe allergies to contact us before the day

Each dish is labelled, and allergen information is kept at the bar.

Add burrito bowls for guests who’d rather skip tortillas.

Guacamole

Freshly made guacamole with lime.

Vegan fillings

Black bean and sweet potato, or spiced mushrooms.

Should I do it myself?

Running your own drinks table is one option, but someone still has to mix, pour and keep an eye on it all evening. Our margarita bar guide has tips.

Doing it yourself? Start with the quantities: see how many tacos per person. Keep warmed tortillas covered, and label anything containing allergens.

Common questions in Three Bridges

Can you cater a reception after a service at St Barnabas'?

Yes. The church itself is not where we’d set up, but a hall, field or garden close by with room for the truck or trailer can work well. Let us know the reception address and we’ll check the access.

Is it possible to have you in Grattons Park?

It depends on the park’s owner, who would need to agree to a catering vehicle on site. Ask them first; if they say yes, we will send what they need from us.

What space does a taco bar need?

Send us details of the venue and where you’d like the bar, and we’ll confirm what’s needed. The venue’s agreement is needed too.

Can you serve in the rain?

Rain doesn’t usually stop service from the truck or trailer. Plan cover for guests, such as a marquee or gazebo, and let us know if the ground gets soft after heavy rain.

Do you take everything away?

We clear our own area when service is finished. Ask us if you’d like help with anything else.

Who looks after the taco bar?

We run the station ourselves, so your hosts don’t need to. We pack it away afterwards.

Can you cater for vegetarians and vegans?

Yes. We can include vegetarian and vegan fillings like black beans or spiced mushrooms, served alongside the meat options.

Do you bring plates and cutlery?

We confirm that with your quote. Tell us whether your venue has crockery or you’d prefer disposables and we’ll talk it through.
