Taco bar hire in Langley Green, from our food truck or trailer

Our staff set up the taco bar and look after it through service: warming tortillas, keeping fillings hot and refilling the salsas as they go. Your hosts can stay with their guests. For team socials and working lunches, we can serve guacamole, fresh salsas and slow-cooked fillings kept hot and more.

In a smaller place like Langley Green, a taco bar in your garden or a local hall keeps things simple. Our staff set up the station and guests build their own tacos. Let us know about the drive and parking. You can book food, drinks or both, so one caterer can cover more of the day.

FAQs for Langley Green

How far is Langley Green from central London?

Roughly 26 miles from the centre of London, and well within our area.

Could you serve our guests after a service at Voice of Deliverance Full Gospel Church of God?

Yes. The church itself is not where we’d set up, but a hall, field or garden close by with room for the truck or trailer can work well. Let us know the reception address and we’ll check the access.

Is a taco bar right for a wedding?

A taco bar makes a relaxed, sociable wedding meal. We fit it around your speeches and photos. Read our taco bar guide for ideas.

Do you clear up afterwards?

Our area is packed away and left tidy. Tell us the venue’s rules on waste and clearing up and we’ll confirm the arrangements with your quote.

Can you plan for allergies?

We plan allergen-aware menus, including for nut allergies, and give allergen information for every dish. We plan carefully and keep options separate, though we cannot promise a dish is allergen-free. Guests with severe allergies should talk to us before the event.

How far ahead should we book?

As soon as you have a date. Peak dates go quickly, so it pays to ask early.

What access do you need?

Access and level ground matter most: a firm spot for the truck or trailer, room for a queue and, for a taco bar, space for a serving table. Send us a picture and tell us about gates, slopes and soft ground.

Can you keep it mild?

That’s your choice: we can keep it mild and put the hotter salsas on the side. Read more about how spicy Mexican food is.

Should I do it myself?

Running your own drinks table is one option, but someone has to serve all evening. See our margarita bar guide.

Some hosts like to do it themselves. The usual problems are cold tortillas, running out of a popular filling and a host stuck at the stove. If you’d rather be with your guests, we will do the serving.

Catering for every guest

Dietary needs are easy to plan for with a little notice. We suggest:

  • Let us know about anyone who is coeliac
  • Include a dietary question on your invitations
  • Give us separate numbers for children
  • Agree the serving spot with your venue early

Once guests have eaten, we clear the table and pack up and leave the spot tidy.

For larger groups, ask about a second serving point, quoted for your event.

Working with your venue

Venues often have their own rules about outside caterers: where vehicles can park, access times and the paperwork they need. Send us your venue’s requirements and we’ll follow them.

For big numbers, we plan service to keep queues short, so everyone is served promptly. Tell us how long you have for food and drinks.

A closer look at the menu

Warm tortillas

Tortillas are the base of the bar. We warm them as the bar needs them through service.

Vegan fillings

A vegan filling sits on the bar with the rest, not an afterthought.

What taco bar hire costs

We will give you a clear quote. What affects it most:

  • Food, drinks or both
  • Whether you need disposables
  • Serving staff
  • The menu you choose

Cost depends on guest numbers, the menu and the length of service, plus any add-ons and the location. We quote for each event individually.

What we need to know

We can quote more accurately with a few details. Here’s what to include:

  • Access for the truck or trailer, including gates and ground
  • Roughly how many adults and children
  • A photo of the space, if it’s a garden or field
  • Where the event is

Not sure what you need yet? No problem: tell us about the occasion and the guests, and we’ll make suggestions. When you’re ready, tell us about it on our contact page.

Is taco bar hire right for your event?

The difference between a taco bar and truck service is who builds the taco. From the truck, we put each order together; at the bar, guests build their own. Your choice of food and drinks affects the price, so tell us what you have in mind. We’ll suggest options to suit your budget.

The process

We get there well before you want to serve, set up the truck or trailer and get everything ready. When service opens, guests come up to the hatch or serving table. Evenings in Langley Green stay light until about 9:20pm in June, but by late September sunset is around 7:05pm. Once it gets dark, guests need to see what they’re adding to their tacos.

  1. Share a few details about the event.
  2. You get a suggested taco-bar menu and a quote.
  3. We check power, water and access with your venue.
  4. We arrive, unload and lay out warm tortillas, fillings and toppings.
  5. Afterwards, we pack down and leave the area tidy.

Preparing for the day

  • Have level hardstanding or firm ground ready
  • Check the venue is happy to have a truck or trailer on site
